
Pumpkin Cream
Ingredients:
1/4 cup olive oil
1 1/2 cups chopped onion
1/2 tbsp crushed garlic
1/3 cup wheat flour
3 cups chicken broth
6 cups raw pumpkin cut into squares
1/2 tsp curry powder (optional)
1 cup Tres Monjitas HEAVY CREAM
¼ cup shredded parmesan cheese
salt as desired
Procedure
- 1In a saucepan, heat the olive oil, add the onion and garlic, and cook for 3 to 5 minutes
- 2Then add the wheat flour and chicken broth, little by little
- 3Add the pumpkin, curry, Tres Monjitas Heavy Cream and cheese, and cook for 30 minutes
- 4Remove from the heat and let cool
- 5Put everything on the food processor and stir until creamy
- 6Serve hot and garnish with grated Parmesan cheese
