Pumpkin Cream


1/4 cup olive oil

1 1/2 cups chopped onion

1/2 tbsp crushed garlic

1/3 cup wheat flour

3 cups chicken broth

6 cups raw pumpkin cut into squares

1/2 tsp curry powder (optional)

1 cup Tres Monjitas HEAVY CREAM

¼ cup shredded parmesan cheese

salt as desired


  • 1In a saucepan, heat the olive oil, add the onion and garlic, and cook for 3 to 5 minutes
  • 2Then add the wheat flour and chicken broth, little by little
  • 3Add the pumpkin, curry, Tres Monjitas Heavy Cream and cheese, and cook for 30 minutes
  • 4Remove from the heat and let cool
  • 5Put everything on the food processor and stir until creamy
  • 6Serve hot and garnish with grated Parmesan cheese
