Pasta Alfredo

Ingredients:

1 lb. Boiled fettuccine pasta

¼ cup butter

¼ cup wheat flour

1 1/2 cup of TRES MONJITAS HALF & HALF

1 1/2 cup chicken broth

¼ cup parmesan cheese

A pinch of nutmeg

Salt as desired

You can add chicken or fish

Procedure

  • 1Pour 4 cups of water and salt as desired in a saucepan and bring to a boil
  • 2Add the fettuccine and cook at medium temperature for 5-7 minutes
  • 3Drain the pasta and set it aside
  • 4Place a saucepan on the stove at low heat and melt the butter
  • 5Add the wheat flour and stir until it forms a pasty mixture
  • 6Add the chicken broth and Tres Monjitas Half & Half cup over the mixture, while stirring
  • 7Then add the parmesan cheese, a pinch of nutmeg, and salt as desired
  • 8Cook for 5-8 minutes at moderate temperature
  • 9Serve the sauce over the pasta
