Creamy Tuscan Chicken
An easy meal for two? We’re sharing this recipe for a creamy chicken, prepared with our Tres Monjitas® Half & Half
INGREDIENTS:
4 chicken breasts
4 tbsp of butter
¾ tsps. of salt
1/2 tsp. of pepper
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup of chicken broth
¾ cup of Tres Monjitas® Half & Half
⅔ cup of sun-dried tomatoes in oil, chopped
1 ¼ cup of freshly grated parmesan cheese
Fresh basil
PROCEDURE
Heat a large skillet at medium-high heat.
Add the butter and allow it to melt.
Add the chicken breasts, season with salt and pepper and cook until cooked through.
Remove the chicken from the skillet and cover.
Lower heat to medium. Add the garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds.
Pour in the chicken broth, Tres Monjitas® Half & Half, sun-dried tomatoes and ¾ cups of parmesan cheese. Allow the sauce to boil at low heat, until it thickens, 5-6 minutes.
Add the chicken breasts back to the sauce and cook on low heat for 1-2 minutes.
Toss in the remaining ½ cup of Parmesan cheese and the fresh basil strips.
Serve with pasta or sauteed vegetables.
